El proyecto se plantea como una reflexión sobre la representación de la mujer en Chile a través del tiempo, como el sexismo se repite 100 años después, principalmente la visibilidad y la invisibilización, la vestimenta, la instrumentalización de la mujer, los micro machismos y machismos en la cotidianidad. Utilizo como soporte la clorofila, un material fotosensible que retiene la imagen de manera temporal pero con el tiempo se desvanece inevitablemente.

Las imágenes son una selección de fotografías de archivo recuperadas del libro: Retratos de mujer 1880-1920, Chile, MHN. En él se observan las primeras fotografías en donde aparecen mujeres en la historia del país, en su mayoría mujeres acomodadas de apellidos de renombre que con este proyecto toman un nuevo significado. En la actualidad me encuentro trabajando con imágenes de mi archivo familiar como continuación del proyecto.

The images are a selection of archive photographs recovered from the book: Portraits of women 1880-1920, Chile, MHN. It shows the first photographs where women appear in the history of the country, mostly well-to-do women with renowned names who take on a new meaning with this project. I am currently working with images from my family archive as a continuation of the project.
